Care Supervisor
Care Co:ordinator – Dementia Specialised Nursing Home (Partington, Manchester)
About the Role A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Care Co:ordinator to work in an amazing nursing home based in the Partington, Manchester area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading healthcare providers.
This special nursing home is designed for the unique needs of people living with dementia.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must hold:
- An NVQ/QCF Level 3 or 4 in Health and Social Care
Responsibilities
As the Care Co:ordinator, your key duties include:
- Working as part of a team to maintain personal care of residents, respecting dignity and promoting independence
- Ensuring care services are consistently delivered to a high-quality standard
- Assisting in:
- The care of residents’ physical environments
- General day-to-day activities of the home
- Taking responsibility for:
- The running of the home in the absence of the Manager
- The wellbeing of both staff and residents
- Organising shifts, administering and recording medication, liaising with health professionals, and updating residents’ computerised care plans
- Assisting with:
- Induction, training, and supervision of support staff
- Supporting residents with limited mobility or physical/learning difficulties, ensuring proper use of mobility aids and personal equipment
