About The Role
Longlands Care home is situated in Daventry, we offer a happy and safe living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
Our Team of friendly and committed staff provide the highest level of care and specialise in supporting people living with Dementia.
With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home aims to provide a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.
It is situated in Daventry, and it offers a wonderful living environment in which our residents can enjoy an enhanced quality of life.
We have teams of friendly and committed staff who provide the highest level of dementia care and residential care.
With our great accommodation and facilities and a programme of activities, our care home evokes a home from home atmosphere in which our residents can feel comfortable, content and very well cared for.
What will you be doing?
Responsibilities
As a Care and Support Worker at Longlands Care Home, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centered care to our residents. You’ll support older people and those living with dementia in their daily routines, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and toileting
- Supporting residents with mobility and mealtimes
- Engaging in meaningful activities and social interaction
- Monitoring and reporting changes in residents’ health and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all residents
This role is based in our purpose-built facility in Daventry, which includes both long-term residential care and short-term respite care.
Offering, 24 or 36 hours per week.
(Consisting of x2/3, 12 hours): Shifts: 7.45am - 8.15pm, with alternate weekends.

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore subject to an enhanced DBS certificate. It is also a regulated activity and will be subject to a Children and Adults Barred List check.
