Job Title: Care & Support Colleague
Location: Parkhaven Court. Parkhaven Trust, Liverpool Rd South, Maghull L31 8BR
Hours of work: 35 hours per week
Leave entitlement: 27 days holiday a year
Pay Scale: £13.65 an hour

About The Role
As a Care and Support Colleague at Parkhaven Court, you will contribute to ensuring our service users living with varying support needs — many of whom are living with dementia — enjoy a safe, fulfilling, and dignity-focused life in a welcoming community.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Supporting service users with their personal care needs with respect, dignity, and sensitivity
- Assisting with mobility and daily living activities as required
- Promoting overall wellbeing in a person-centred environment
- Acting as a trusted key worker/advocate to ensure individual needs are met
- Participating in reviews and service user meetings as requested by management
- Understanding the general needs of older people and those living with dementia and associated conditions
About Parkhaven Court
Parkhaven Court provides Extra Care Housing — specialist supported living in purpose-built accommodation with a 24-hour team on site.
Our community includes:
- Self-contained apartments with open-plan lounge/diner, fully equipped kitchen, and accessible wet rooms
- Private garden or patio areas for each home
- A secure communal lounge, dining areas, and library
- Regular social activities (e.g., coffee mornings, seasonal activities, communal meals, arts & crafts, live music, fitness activities, and more)
- Extra care support for couples so partners can live together comfortably even when additional needs arise

Hours & Shift Pattern
We currently have full-time day shift positions within our Service:
- 7-hour shifts AM – 7:30am to 2:30pm PM – 2:20pm to 9:20pm
- 35 Hours per week
- 5 days per week
- 7-day rotating roster
