Care Worker – Support for Client with Epilepsy

🔹 Mandatory Requirements

  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Limited to UK-based applicants only
  • Requires a valid full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle (for this role)

About the Role

We provide round-the-clock care to support individuals, including children, young people, and adults, who require assistance living in the comfort and safety of their own home.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to support our female client with Epilepsy in Hemel Hempstead.

✅ Essential Requirement: Must have previous experience in supporting individuals with epilepsy to ensure person-centred care.

📅 Additional Responsibilities: Your role includes attending regular social activities with our client, such as:

  • Gardening at a day centre (Mondays & Wednesdays)
  • Singing & Dancing at Electric Umbrella (Tuesdays & Thursdays)

You will provide comprehensive support with daily living and socialisation, offering an opportunity to make a meaningful difference and help our client achieve their personal goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care
  • Administering medication
  • Attending social activities and offering companionship
  • Supporting the client in learning everyday life skills
  • Assisting with regular sport and exercise
  • Food shopping and meal planning

🕒 Working Hours:

  • Shift-based (7am – 10pm)
  • Weekend commitment: Mandatory to work one shift every other weekend

Ideal Candidate Criteria

The perfect candidate will bring:

  • Excellent physical fitness, calmness, patience, friendliness, and a caring attitude
  • Prior experience in supporting individuals with epilepsy
  • Strong organisation and independent working skills
  • A proactive and personable approach to work
  • Effective communication skills (fluent in English)
  • Professional appearance and presentation (clean and tidy)
