Shifts Available

Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 8:00pm

Role Overview

As a Bank Care Support Worker at KIMS Hospital, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the nursing team within outpatient and clinical settings. You will help ensure patients receive high-quality, compassionate care aligned with the KIMS vision of “championing healthcare at its best”. This role is ideal for someone patient-focused, adaptable, and committed to excellent standards of care and patient experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Support patients before, during and after clinic appointments, ensuring comfort, dignity and reassurance at all times.
  • Monitor and record basic clinical observations such as temperature, pulse, respirations and weight, maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Assist with patient admission and registration processes and act as a chaperone when required.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical equipment, treatment areas and supplies to ensure smooth running of clinics.
  • Champion infection prevention and control, patient safety, confidentiality and KIMS values in all aspects of your work.

Essential Criteria

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient environment.
  • A caring, compassionate approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Desirable Criteria

  • Flexibility to work across different departments and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic IT/keyboard skills.
