Team Leader – Goodwins Hall Care Home

As a Team Leader at Goodwins Hall Care Home, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and supporting our care team who are passionate about delivering making moments for our residents and providing high-quality care.

About The Role

As Team Leader, your role will focus on care delivery, assisting the home in achieving the highest standards in all areas. Our commitment to "Celebrating Every Individual" guides this position.

Within this role, growth opportunities include:

  • Progression to CHAPS or nursing positions.
  • Fully funded apprenticeships towards an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Salary:

£13.61 per hour.

Shift Pattern:

  • 45 hours per week.
  • 12-hour shifts, rotated inclusively from Monday–Sunday.

Home Location:

Goodwins Road, King’s Lynn, PE30 5PD, England


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the care team while on duty, ensuring delivery of exceptional care outcomes.
  • Inspire and motivate staff, creating a culture that prioritises residents’ needs and elevates care standards.
  • Oversee supervision, appraisal, performance management, and recognise each team member’s potential ("Celebrating Every Individual").
  • Conduct enhanced clinical care, including:
    • Observations of:
      • Blood pressure
      • Pulse
      • Respiration rate
      • Temperature
      • Blood oxygen levels
    • Monitoring urine output.

Required Training, Skills & Experience

  • A genuine passion for care and unwavering commitment to residents’ well-being.
  • Proven experience in a similar senior care role.
  • Valid NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (mandatory).
  • Strong communication skills with team members, residents, and families.
  • Demonstrated track record in leading, supporting, and motivating diverse teams.
