Your Responsibilities

In this supportive, vibrant environment at Stanley Park Road, you will:

  • Lead a team to deliver exceptional, person-centred care, ensuring everyone lives independently and fulfilling lives.
  • Assess and understand the specific needs of the individuals you support.
  • Foster meaningful opportunities and activities, such as:
    • Engaging in household responsibilities (e.g., cooking, cleaning).
    • Participating in goal-setting, hobbies, and fitness classes, including swimming and exercise programs.
  • Support in social and leisure activities, helping community integration and celebrating milestones.
  • Enhance communication skills—adapting to individual needs and ensuring effective conversation for all.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to ensure communication is consistent, respectful, and effective.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the social care sector, typically as:
    • Mental Health Support Worker
    • Care Worker
    • Healthcare Assistant
    • Care Assistant
  • Passion for fostering a supportive inclusive environment and empowering individuals to thrive.
  • Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
