Care Team Leader Nights – 20 Hours per Week (Nightshift)

The Role

Location: Breme Residential Care Home, 46 Providence Road, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire Salary: £15.34 per hour Hours: 20 hours per week (nightshift)

About the Role

As a Care Team Leader Nights, you will:

  • Oversee the day-to-day care needs of residents with compassion and dedication.
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in delivering personalised, high-quality care.
  • Support resident wellbeing, including leisure and social activities.
  • Ensure every resident, family, and colleague is treated with respect, kindness and dignity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team collaboration – Foster a positive team environment that enriches residents’ lives.
  • Personalised care – Deliver care plans tailored to each resident’s needs.
  • Leisure & social engagement – Promote joy, inclusion and meaningful activities.
  • Team leadership – Mentor Care Assistants and ensure compliance with care protocols.

Requirements

  • Essential:
    • Experience in care (preferably working with older adults).
  • Desirable:
    • NVQ Level 3 Award in Social Care.
  • Essential Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication skills and active listening.
    • Flexible, empathetic, and approachable personality.
    • A genuine care and respect for older people and their families.
    • Commitment to continuous teamwork andDevelopment.
