Care Team Leader

Care Team Leader – Upton Dene Residential and Nursing Home, Chester

This is a Care Team Leader role at Upton Dene Residential and Nursing Home, located at Caldecott Close, CH2 1FD.

  • Hourly Rate: £15.34 per hour
  • Working Hours: 33 hours per week – nights

Your Role

  • Support the wellbeing of residents, ensuring they feel cared-for and at home
  • Work closely with the team to enrich residents’ lives through social and personalised care
  • Deliver care plans that meet individual needs
  • Promote leisure and social activities to foster meaningful engagement
  • Guide and encourage Care Assistants in their professional development

Key Skills and Requirements

  • Experience in care, ideally holding an NVQ3/SVQ3 in Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Clear, proactive communication and willingness to flex your approach as needs arise
  • Strong collaborative mindset and team player attitude
  • Deep empathy and genuine care for the needs of older people
  • Commitment to upholding dignity and respect in all interactions
