Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Care Worker role based in multiple locations. The Care Worker will support clients in their homes with daily living activities, such as personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and help with medication prompts in line with care plans. The role includes monitoring clients’ wellbeing, documenting observations, and reporting concerns to supervisors or healthcare professionals as required. The Care Worker will also provide companionship, encourage independence, and support clients in maintaining social connections and routines. The position involves working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

- Experience or training in personal care, including supporting with washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to follow care plans, maintain clear records, and report concerns promptly and accurately.
- Reliability, empathy, patience, and a respectful approach to working with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to support client schedules.
- Basic understanding of health and safety, safeguarding, and confidentiality in a homecare setting.
- Desirable: Previous experience in domiciliary or community care and relevant care certificates or NVQ qualification in Health and Social Care.
