About the Service
Bristol Community Links is the Bristol City Council day service provision for adults with care and support needs, including:
- Dementia
- Learning disabilities
- Autism
- Physical or sensory impairments
The Links service currently operates from two locations across the city. You will be predominantly based in one of the main Link buildings, but flexibility in location will be required depending on operational needs.
The Role
As a Care Worker, you will join an experienced team in a vibrant community setting. Your role will involve:
- Providing personalised support for service users to engage with their local community
- Helping individuals participate in a wide range of activities
- Working collaboratively to enable meaningful daily outcomes for those you support
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating a proactive approach to supporting service users
- Ensuring individuals are treated with dignity and respect
- Encouraging participation in community-focused activities
- Empowering service users to retain independence
