Cannock Chase High School, a thriving 11–19 mixed comprehensive school with around 1100 students, is seeking to appoint a committed colleague with a passion for and expertise in careers education to support its expanding provision.

About the Role
Under the leadership of the Careers Lead, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance (CEIAG). Key responsibilities include:

Core Duties
- Planning, organising, and delivering careers-related events and activities, such as:
- Careers fairs -Employer talks
- Mock interviews
- Work experience programmes
- Liaising with external providers, employers, and educational institutions to ensure high-quality student experiences.
- Coordinating and tracking student destinations and work experience placements, ensuring smooth progress and post-16/placement success.
- Providing one-to-one guidance or information sessions to support students’ post-16 or post-18 pathways, including:
- Apprenticeships
- Sixth form progression
- Further education
- University options
- Employment routes
- Signposting students to further support or specialist guidance where required.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the CEIAG programme, aligning with:
- Gatsby Benchmarks
- Statutory guidance
