Careers Coordinator

Myton School

Part time 21 hours per week (term time only plus INSET days plus 5 days holiday working) – Scale H Points 17-22 (£15,532-£16,873pa)

At Myton we recognise that having a goal and suitable destination is key for students to meet their potential and thrive as future citizens. As such we are looking to expand our Careers team and are looking for a qualified Careers Coordinator in order to support the work we already do and enhance our provision in meeting the Gatsby Benchmarks. If you feel you can fit that brief, then we want to hear from you.

Myton is a large secondary school with about 1750 students from years 7-13 and over 400 in the Sixth Form. We believe careers provision should start in year 7 and enhance our curriculum provision. We use Unifrog as a platform to support our work and offer a wide range of trips and opportunities for careers engagement across the school. As a happy and purposeful community, we offer students an exciting curriculum and a huge range of extra-curricular opportunities within a safe, secure and supportive environment. With enduring values of care and mutual respect we support hard-working staff as well as students and families.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
