LJMU is seeking an experienced part-time Careers & Employability Trainer to join our award-winning Student Futures team.

Student Futures is LJMU’s Careers, Employability and Start-Up team. We provide a diverse range of services, experiences, advice & guidance directly to students & graduates, designed to transform their skills, mindset and future success. As a value-adding partner, Student Futures provides expert consultancy & practical support to academic colleagues across the university.

Careers & Employability Trainers devise & deliver creative, engaging and impact-rich sessions, within and beyond the curriculum. Key themes include:

  • Thriving in early careers as a graduate professional

You will be experienced in planning, delivering & continuously improving effective workshops for students or adult learners. You will have a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities present in today’s economy and how students from a range of backgrounds can be supported to meet them. You will be an excellent communicator, self-organiser and team player.
