Role Description
The Caregiver role at Citadel Meds Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Nottingham. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with personal care, mobility, and daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting.
- Monitoring clients’ wellbeing, recording observations accurately, and promptly reporting changes in condition to supervisors or healthcare professionals.
- Providing companionship, supporting social and recreational activities, and helping clients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
- Following care plans, adhering to health and safety and infection-control standards, and collaborating with colleagues and families to ensure consistent, high-quality care.

Qualifications
- Willingness to work full-time/part-time on-site in Nottingham, including potential evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Previous experience in caregiving, support work, or healthcare is beneficial but not always essential.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and promoting dignity, respect, and inclusion for all clients.
- Demonstrate empathy, patience, and emotional resilience when supporting individuals with varying physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans, maintain accurate records, and adhere to health, safety, and safeguarding procedures.
- Reliable time management and organizational skills, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and respond calmly to urgent situations.
- Basic understanding of personal care practices, infection control, and safe moving and handling techniques; training can be provided.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills to build trust and rapport with clients, families, and colleagues.
