University Home Care Inc – Compassionate Caregiver Worker (Chelsea, MI)

University Home Care Inc is seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Caregivers in Chelsea, MI. In this role, you’ll provide vital in-home care to help clients maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including:
    • Bathing, dressing, grooming
    • Meal preparation
  • Offer compassionate companionship and emotional support
  • Monitor clients' health and promptly report changes to supervisors or healthcare professionals
  • Provide assistance with medication reminders and adherence (as directed)
  • Support clients with mobility and transportation needs
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment
  • Follow defined care plans and comply with company policies

Requirements

  • Ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Reliable transportation to and from client homes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of caregiving and home care techniques (advantageous)
  • Willingness to undergo background checks and drug screening
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
