Job Opportunity at Care for the Carers

This role offers a great opportunity to take on a rewarding and dynamic role at Care for the Carers. You will work alongside our dedicated Carer Support Team making a real difference to carers’ lives across East Sussex by providing them with information, support, advice, and guidance. The work includes the provision of one-to-one and group support by phone, online, and face-to-face, as well as working with our partners in the NHS, Social Care, and the voluntary sector.

Key aspects of the role:

  • Provide carers with information, advice, support, and guidance.
  • Work with carers to empower them to prioritise their own health and wellbeing.
  • Support the delivery of the occasional training sessions to groups of carers and/or professionals.
  • Work with colleagues in the NHS, Social Care, and the voluntary sector to best support carers.
  • Promote Care for the Carers and develop partnerships in East Sussex.

Salary

  • £16,232 per annum, based on 21 hours per week.

Contract term

  • Fixed Term until April 30th 2028 with the possibility of becoming permanent.

Primary Location

  • Eastbourne, Uckfield and/or Hastings, East Sussex. Hybrid working available by agreement.
