Casual positions available Join Baptistcare Warabrook to Empower Lives with Passion and Care Rate: $31.13 – $34.59/hour + 25% Casual Loading + 12% Super


Your Role as a Carer

Baptistcare Warabrook Centre seeks a Casual Carer to join our dedicated team.

As a Care Service Employee, you will enable individuals to live their best lives through compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Collaborate with residents to achieve their goals by supporting their individual care plans.

  • Offer kind, respectful care across various daily tasks including:

    • Personal and daily care (bathe, assist with dressing, shave, etc.)
    • Activities tailored to residents’ passions and interests
    • Meal support and mobility assistance
  • Empower choice by understanding and respecting what matters to each resident and their family.

  • Provide regular updates to supervisors/managers about resident progress, requests, changes, or concerns.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Successful candidates must meet the following:

  • Hold (or be studying towards) a Certificate III in Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification, such as Registered Nurse training).
  • Physically capable of performing job duties safely and effectively.
  • Basic technology/computer skills with a willingness to keep learning.
  • Fluent English speaking and writing (oral and written).
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with residents, families, and colleagues.
