Our Lady of the Magnificat Catholic MAC
25 hours per week for 52 weeks per year (term time hours: 1.00pm to 6.00pm; outside of term time – Noon to 5.00pm).
This role requires flexibility of working hours to support evening school events/activities, when necessary.
About the Role
St Raphael the Archangel Catholic Multi-Academy Trust are looking to recruit a Caretaker. This role will be based at Trinity Catholic School. This is a part-time/permanent role. The successful candidate will:
- Work under broad direction and laid down procedures.
- Be responsible for managing caretaking services to all buildings forming the school site, ensuring a safe and secure environment.
- Have responsibility for undertaking minor or temporary maintenance and repairs.
- Drive a minibus.
- Supervise school caretaking/premises staff.
- Be responsible to the Senior Caretaker/Principal or nominated representative for the effective provision of caretaking, cleaning and site maintenance routines and responding to emergencies relating to the site as necessary.
- Contribute to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
