We are looking for someone to keep our site clean and well maintained. The role of the site caretaker is to create a safe, clean and well-maintained environment for students, staff and visitors every day. You will be responsible for cleaning offices, classrooms, kitchens, toilets and carrying out periodic deep clean of internal and external spaces.

Share is a registered charity and a centre for training and wellbeing. We provide a range of programmes empowering adults with a learning disability, autistic adults, and adults with other support needs to live happier, healthier, and more independent lives. Our vision is a world where disabled people are fully included in society, living the life they choose, and we need talented people to help us make that happen.

This role, while based at our Clapham Junction site, will require occasional work at our other sites in Tooting, Brixton, and Vauxhall.

Main responsibilities

  • You’ll be responsible for cleaning the site including toilets, office spaces and a shared kitchen
  • You’ll handle chemicals and cleaning agents safely and keep them locked away
  • You’ll maintain and replace fixtures and fittings along with moving and assembling furniture
  • You’ll conduct and record regular fire alarm tests and ensure fire exits and evacuation routes remain free from obstruction

Who we are looking for

  • You have experience of cleaning in a commercial, domestic, retail or office setting
  • You have excellent attention to detail and are thorough, cleaning to a high standard
  • You understand health and safety regulations and have a solid understanding of infection control and deep cleaning
  • Most importantly, you’re passionate about helping disabled people enjoy more autonomy and you understand how to make this happen

Why work for us?

Share is committed to empowering disabled adults. You’ll make a difference every day, helping people to live as independently as possible.

Our values drive us forward. They provide the framework for everything we do, including who we hire. We believe everyone has something to offer others, and we build on people's individual talents, interests and abilities. We think happy employees are successful employees.

We hold a gold Investors in People accreditation, which means we truly understand the value of people: we focus on what people can do, not what holds them back. And we have robust policies in place so that every single person working at Share takes ownership for making our programmes come to life.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
