Caretaker
Location Student Roost – Great Patrick Street
Salary £26,227.50 pro rata
Hours Average of 37.5 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 (8am–8pm). This is a fixed-term contract for 2 months.
About Student Roost
At Student Roost, we believe student living is about feeling at home—not just having a room. As a Caretaker, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining our buildings, handling everything from reactive repairs and groundskeeping to escorting contractors and leading compliance checks. You’ll care for our residents just as we care for you, fostering a supportive and adaptable team.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Health & Safety and Compliance Checks – Ensuring buildings meet all standards with meticulous reporting.
- Reactive Maintenance Repairs – Addressing issues promptly and efficiently.
- Grounds & External Maintenance – Keeping communal spaces clean and well-maintained.
- Redecoration & Cleaning – Working to upgrade and freshen living areas.
- Tech-Assisted Reporting – Using mobile tools to manage compliance and maintenance.
- Escorting Third-Party Contractors – Guiding professionals on-site for repairs or inspections.
- Debt Management Support – (Where applicable) Handling associated maintenance workflows.
