Shropshire Council
We are seeking a part-time Caretaker to join Shropshire Council’s Facilities Management Team at The Lantern in Shrewsbury.
The role involves:
- Opening and securing the building
- Preparing rooms for events and meetings
- Carrying out safety and security checks
- Reporting faults or hazards
- Supporting staff and visitors
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment

This is a permanent role for 13.5 hours per week, with regular weekday morning and Saturday working, plus occasional additional hours to support bookings, holidays or other cover requirements.
