EQUANS is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team in Pendle Vale High School, Oxford Rd, Nelson BB9 8LF. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,954.50 per annum and benefits package.
Shift times:
- Monday to Friday - 5:30am to 1:30pm
What will you deliver?
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of the school premises with respect to caretaking services, together with establishing a close working relationship with the school and community groups.
- Ensure that all services are provided to a consistently high standard.
- Assist the Area Supervisor in meeting the requirements of the Project Agreement.
For this role, you must undergo a DBS clearance; therefore, the ability to pass is essential.

- Experience of providing general cleaning and security duties and basic maintenance of buildings and associated plant and systems.
- Experience of supervising the work of others.
- Possess good communication and customer care skills.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of health and safety principles.
- Able to organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
