We have an exciting position available for a Caretaker to join us!
You’ll provide an effective, responsive and proactive caretaking and cleaning service, contributing to the security and well-being of residents and the maintenance of our estates and properties.
- You’ll ensure that our properties, communal areas and external grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained using a hands-on approach via routine inspections and rapid response to incidents, including out of hours.
- You’ll undertake minor repairs and remedial work to communal areas of properties, and to promptly report all other defects, hazards and repairs.
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrable experience of and commitment to providing good quality customer service
- Practical ability to carry out property maintenance and alert to problems
- Knowledge of relevant health & safety procedures and COSHH regulations
- Able to respond appropriately to emergencies and use initiative
- Able to carry out minor building maintenance work
- Basic IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and email
- Willing to work out of hours if required
- Possess a Full UK driving licence.
