Equans Caretaker Opportunity
Equans is looking for a Caretaker to join our team at University of West London, St Mary's Rd, London W5 5RF on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £31,443.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern
- Working Monday-Friday, alternating shift pattern
- Week 1 - 7am-4pm
- Week 2 - 1pm-10pm
Essential Criteria
- Full UK Valid Driving License
What Will You Deliver?
To perform all the duties specific to the role as per below including Ad-hoc requests from the client both internal and external when required.
Example of Typical Duties
- Set up classrooms and exam rooms across all university sites according to user needs.
- Help prepare for large events like Open Days, enrolment, and Graduation ceremonies by arranging furniture and equipment.
- Get student areas ready for practical activities.
- Take care of the campus grounds by cleaning, jet washing, and cutting grass.
- Daily checks of classrooms to make sure everything is safe and working properly.
- Join site inspections before events.
- Assist with moving internal departments.
- Collect mail from the depot to keep the university running smoothly.
