Job Purpose

  • Identify revenue opportunities through customer interaction, quote activity, market intelligence and capacity analysis, escalating leads to the sales team where appropriate.
  • Coordinate ad-hoc quotation requests, ensuring timely responses and compliance with pricing guidelines and approvals.
  • Develop and maintain productive business relationships through regular contact with existing clients both in person and via telephone.
  • Monitor quotation conversion and customer feedback, highlighting trends and opportunities to the sales team.
  • Support key account management activities by ensuring customer commitments and follow-up actions are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activity, and account information within company systems and databases.
  • Monitor capacity, booking trends, service performance and operational constraints, communicating opportunities and risks to the sales team.
  • Promote Emirates SkyCargo’s specialised products, digital solutions and e-booking channels to customers, supporting adoption and awareness.
  • Act as the primary office-based contact for customers, ensuring prompt resolution of enquiries and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including reservations, pricing & operations.
  • Coordinate customer communication relating to operational disruptions, schedule changes, product updates and service enhancements.

Qualification

Qualifications/Experience

  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a Cargo environment, including Airline Cargo Accounting/Cargo Sales
  • Knowledge of cargo reservations systems
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Fluent in written and verbal English, with excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
