More about your role

You will carry out carpentry based repairs across our properties within designated postcodes in Cambridgeshire but further travel may be needed where required. A typical day may include carrying out repairs to composite doors, UPVC windows, flooring and covering's, kitchen repairs, tiling, aids and adaption improvements and Fire Risk Assessment remedial work You'll collaborate with your Field Operations Manager and regional scheduler to meet deadlines while focusing on cost-efficiency and delivering value to customers. You'll complete designated work to the highest quality standards whilst protecting our customers' homes and belongings. Working as part of a team, you'll liaise with colleagues and clients to ensure excellent service. You'll also support KPIs, maintain professionalism, complete required documentation, while following Health & Safety guidelines and the Group's policies. As part of our employment checks, this role will require you to complete a satisfactory Basic DBS check.

Essential Criteria Have a NVQ Level 2 qualification You will have previous experience as a Carpenter or Joiner completing property repairs ideally within a social housing environment. Due to the area this patch covers, you will need to be reside within the PE29 postcode or within 15 miles Hold a valid driving licence

You must be technically competent with a qualification at City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2. You'll need to work to strict deadlines and high-quality standards, undertake multi-skilling tasks, and communicate effectively. A current driving licence is essential. You will be IT literate and willing to learn software-based systems after training.
