Carpenter

Experienced Carpenter – Join Our Construction Team

In this role, you will carry out a range of first and second fix carpentry works across various construction projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional craftsmanship
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team

Duties

  • Carrying out first and second fix carpentry works
  • Installing:
    • Doors, frames, skirting boards, architraves
    • Ironmongery
  • Fitting kitchens, timber flooring and other internal fixtures (where required)
  • Measuring, cutting, and assembling timber and materials to specification
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and technical plans
  • Repairing, maintaining, and replacing timber structures and fittings
  • Ensuring all work meets high standards and project timescales
  • Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, safe working environment
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures and company policies
  • Reporting any defects or additional required works to site management

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS Card
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Previous experience as a Carpenter
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry and Joinery (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or in team settings
