About the Role

Are you an experienced, skilled Carpenter, looking to join a thriving team working with a long-standing client in residential properties across Kent and London, including North London?

At Ian Williams, you’ll be part of an established and friendly direct trades / capital planned refurbishment team. Join a company that recognises your craft, supports you on the job, and provides real opportunities to earn more.


The Carpenter Role

Get hands-on with:

  • General carpentry work, including:
    • Installing fire door sets
    • Fitting architraves and stud partitions
  • Working both individually and as part of a trade team
  • Providing professional service and excellent customer care, including working in vulnerable settings
  • Completing targets while maintaining high standards

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality carpentry tasks across residential properties
  • Work safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Operate as part of a team while demonstrating self-reliance
  • Fire door installation experience essential

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry required
  • Preference for candidates with IFC or FIRAS 3rd party accreditation (training provided if unavailable)
  • Proven experience in installing fire door sets
  • Full UK driving licence (use of own vehicle for commuting)
