Fed up of the UK and fancy a lifestyle change? We have 2:3-year contracts for a number of qualified Carpenters/Joiners/Shopfitters, working on the beautiful island of Bermuda. The rates aren't the highest, but the lifestyle is amazing, with a great social scene, beautiful beaches and tax-free earnings around 30-35/hr, plus overtime rates. Work permits take around 2 months, so start date is late August/Sept.

We're working with a well-established construction business seeking experienced Carpenters and Joiners to join their growing team on this beautiful Atlantic island. Please note that for these roles the work permit and living costs will only support the employee rather than family relocation.

What you'll be doing as a Carpenter/Joiner/Shopfitter
You'll be involved in a variety of commercial building projects, delivering high-quality finishes to 5* hospitality and high-end business spaces, as well as opportunities within related construction works.
What We're Looking For In a Carpenter/Joiner/Shopfitter
- Commercial carpentry experience
- Strong drywall, ceiling, millwork, trim, door and hardware installation skills
- Ability to read drawings and complete accurate setting out
- Experience on hospitals, airports or similar projects preferred
- Excellent workmanship and strong safety awareness
- A flexible, hands-on, can-do attitude
- Willingness to work at height and undertake physically demanding tasks
- Experience with seismic installations, infection control and relevant safety certifications would be an advantage.
- English speaking: essential for the local driving test.
- Clear police record (for the work permit). The permit will only support the employee in this instance: no partner/family relocation unfortunately.
