About the Role
Capital City College (CCC) is seeking to appoint an hourly paid carpentry apprentice assessor to join our dynamic London-based team.
As an Hourly-Paid Support, You Will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners in achieving their goals
- Share your knowledge and real-world insights to develop learners’ skills and understanding
- Adapt your teaching methods to meet diverse learner needs
About the Team
You’ll be joining a collaborative, innovative team committed to teaching excellence and learner success.
About You
We’re looking for a passionate individual with:
- Proven experience in carpentry and a strong teaching presence
- A1 Assessor’s Award (Level 3) and TaQWA Level 4 IQA qualification to conduct assessments across sites (and preferably experience in setting up End Point Assessments for carpentry apprentices)
- Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills
- A commitment to inclusive, learner-centred teaching
- Either already holds a recognised teaching qualification or is willing to achieve one
- Confidence in delivering to a diverse range of learners and inspiring them to realise their potential
