Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cleaning Team Supervisor to manage operations at our Worcester depot.

This is a safety-critical role responsible for delivering high-quality train cleaning services through effective team-management, planning, and resource management.
You will oversee cleaning operations, ensuring customer expectations, quality standards, and operational efficiency are consistently achieved. The role requires a skilled manager who has a focus on safety and compliance along with the motivation to improve processes and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Motivate a team of cleaning staff to deliver efficient and high-quality cleaning services
- Develop and manage cleaning plans and staff rosters aligned with operational schedules
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, and company procedures
- Manage staff matters including attendance, training, discipline, and PPE compliance
- Monitor performance and quality standards, providing KPI reporting

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Experience within a cleaning, facilities, or similar operational environment
- Proven supervisory or team management experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and manage performance
- Good IT skills, including use of spreadsheets and planning tools
To ensure continuity and an effective delivery of service, successful candidates will be required to commit to a minimum 14-month period in role after achieving competence. This also includes existing colleagues who move by internal promotions and transfers. This time allows our future colleagues to support personal career development by allowing time to build strong knowledge and expertise.
