About the Role
The CSG Complex Injury team is seeking a Case Administrator to support lawyers managing high-value and critical cases involving complex and catastrophic personal injury incidents. You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring claims are handled efficiently, meeting deadlines and upholding the firm’s commercial and client needs.
This is a dynamic opportunity to join a newly expanding team for insurers and corporate clients, advising on litigation defence—ranging from pre-emptive advice to dispute resolution.
What You Will Do
As a Case Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Case management:
- Assist in running high-value injury cases from start to conclusion
- Ensure deadlines are met and files are managed proactively
- Support lawyers in networking outcomes for clients

Administrative tasks:
- Set up new files in the case management system
- Diarise court directions and procedural updates
- Update CRU certificates (Centers for Rehabilitation Update)
- Obtain and chase medical records
- Process payment requests and monitor settlement payments

Stakeholder liaison:
- Coordinate with courts, opponent solicitors, and third parties
- Prepare basic legal correspondence and forms
- Organise Counter’s instructions and case preparation

Miscellaneous duties as required within a fast-paced environment.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a self-starter with strong administration skills who can thrive in a legal, high-pressure setting. Ideal candidates may include:
- Recent graduates with admin experience, or
- Practicing administrators seeking a transition into legal case administration, or
- Aspiring professionals with transferable file-management skills
Key Traits and Qualifications:
- Communication skills with an enthusiastic, professional demeanour
- Confidence to work autonomously without constant supervision
- Team player who can collaborate under tight deadlines and fluctuating workloads
- Excels at prioritisation and organisational tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make practical decisions
- IT proficiency (word processing, spreadsheets, email systems)
- Clear telephone presence and ability to interact effectively remotely

- Knowledge of case management and financial systems
- Background in file administration or similar
