Case Administrator - Vehicle Hire and Damage
Department: CSG - Casualty (EL/PL / Complex Injury / Disease / Fraud / Motor Injury / Vehicle Hire and Damage) Location: Birmingham
Description
We are looking for a Case Administrator to join our Vehicle Hire and Damage Team in Birmingham or Newport.
If you are a recent graduate with experience in administration or have worked as an administrator in the past and want a new challenge in the legal sector, this role could be for you.
What you will do?
You are expected to provide a timely, professional and high-quality service to our clients in the management of claims. Depending on your role, and with the support of a supervisor and team manager you will be expected to:
Assist with the setting-up of new files on the case management system Assist with the running of files to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively to conclusion Ensure work is carried out effectively to meet the needs of the clients and the commercial requirements of the firm to include: Adherence to internal and client SLAs and KPIs Achievement of agreed financial targets Submitting payment requests Chasing settlement payments Liaising with Opponent Solicitors and other Third Parties Managing Court Portal Managing client daily reports / weekly reports Daily client queries / adhoc requests
Who you are
We are happy to hear from graduates or those with customer service/retail experience who are team players and have the passion for learning. We'd also like to hear from Paralegals who may already have experience working in a legal environment.

You will have; Practical experience of file management Good telephone manner Organised and able to prioritise and manage a constantly changing workload Excellent attention to detail Able to make decisions within own areas of responsibility Ability to work on own initiative without close supervision A co-operative team player who is able to work effectively within a pressurised environment and to tight deadlines Excellent communication skills with a positive and enthusiastic approach to their work Experience of using a case management system preferred but not essential Experience of finance systems preferred but not essential Demonstrates alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
