Case Management Officer – Contract Services Team

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Contract Services Team as a Case Management Officer. In this role, you’ll play a key part in improving how we manage Legal Disrepair cases across the organisation.

You’ll leverage your communication skills and investigative approach to resolve issues early, encourage alternatives to litigation, and challenge invalid claims with confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent customer service while ensuring full compliance
  • Work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to respond to incoming Letters of Claim in alignment with both legal and non-legal frameworks
  • Oversee your own caseload, managing the full end-to-end process—from initial Letter of Claim to successful closure
  • Focus on achieving positive outcomes for residents and the business
  • Be based at our Sittingbourne office, with the option for hybrid working as agreed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exceptional customer focus, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to Communicate clearly with all business levels—providing instruction with deadlines to others
  • Leadership in guiding disrepair resources toward achieving measurable results
  • Assertive problem-solving skills—adopting a pragmatic approach while maintaining outstanding people skills, especially when dealing with difficult or challenging customers
  • Empathy in addressing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) issues from an equal perspective
  • Proactive thinking—showing initiative and proposing solutions to issues identified
