Role Description
The Casemaker Operator is a full-time, on-site position based in Nelson.
This position is responsible for:
- Setting up, operating, and monitoring casemaking machinery to produce corrugated boxes and related packaging products.
- Adhering to specifications and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Daily Responsibilities
- Loading materials and adjusting machine settings as required.
- Performing basic maintenance checks to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensuring accurate output with minimal waste.
- Inspecting finished products for quality control compliance.
- Following safety procedures rigorously.
- Collaborating with the production team to meet daily targets and delivery deadlines.
- Maintaining a clean work area.
- Promptly reporting any operational issues.
- Supporting continuous improvement in production processes.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
- Experience operating manufacturing or packaging machinery, preferably:
- Casemakers
- Similar equipment

Skills & Abilities
- Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine machine adjustments and checks.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong ability to follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
- Good physical stamina, including the capacity to:
- Stand for extended periods
- Handle materials safely
- Teamwork and communication skills:
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Additional Advantages
- Previous experience in corrugated packaging or manufacturing (not essential, but valued).
