Cash Allocation Clerk (Hybrid – 3 days working from home after training)
Join Rubix UK and play a key role in our Accounts Receivable team, ensuring customer payments are processed accurately and efficiently while supporting cash flow across the business.
Whether you're leaving school, college or looking for your first office-based role, we'll provide full training and support to help you build a successful career in finance, with opportunities to progress into Credit Control and other finance roles.
Working within our Cash Management team, you'll collaborate with colleagues across Finance, Credit Control, sales and the branch network nationwide to keep customer accounts up to date, resolve queries and maintain accurate financial records.
What You'll Be Doing
- Processing high-volume cash allocations accurately and on time
- Validating remittance advice and investigating payment discrepancies
- Processing credit card payments
- Managing direct debits
- Investigating and allocating unassigned cash receipts
- Making ledger adjustments where appropriate
- Supporting internal and external audit requirements
- Working closely with the Credit Control team to resolve account queries
- Work closely with our Subsidiaries
- Supporting the wider Finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

About You
You'll be organised, detail-focused and comfortable working with high volumes of financial data. You enjoy solving problems, building relationships and finding efficient ways of working. We're looking for:
- Experience processing high-volume cash allocations
- Previous experience in a finance, accounts receivable or customer service environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numerical and administrative skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes
This is a great opportunity for school, college or sixth-form leavers looking to start a career in finance as full training will be given.
