About the Role

As a Cash and Bank Assistant, you will support the accurate, timely and controlled execution of cash and banking activities across our Finance Shared Service Centre. Working closely with Treasury, Record to Report and other finance teams, you'll help maintain the integrity of financial records through bank reconciliations, cash postings, payment controls and banking query resolution, while supporting effective cash management across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record daily banking transactions accurately and within agreed deadlines.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies where required.
  • Monitor and clear treasury and bank-related accounts, ensuring balances are understood and fully supported.
  • Manage cash and banking queries, providing a professional and timely service to stakeholders.
  • Support payment control activities, balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes.
  • Contribute to audit requests, KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Experience from a similar role preferably within a shared services environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems, ideally SAP, and strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with high volumes of financial data and meet deadlines.
