We have a challenging opportunity for an Administrator / Dispatcher.

The Administrator / Dispatcher Role

Our Administrator / Dispatcher work in branch locations and carry out the critical cash accounting work that keeps modern commerce moving. Our work is essential, so our team members are essential.

We prepare cash shipments and connect money from one place to the next. As an Administrator / Dispatcher at Brink’s, you’ll work within our branch locations to account for the cash and valuables we transport to banks and businesses across the UK.

This position requires the enforcement of rules to protect the premises and property of Note Machine and its customers, as well as the safety of persons on the premises of Note Machine and its customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare outbound consignments for the next day dispatch
  • Process, verify, reconcile and report inbound and outbound currency transactions
  • In case of discrepancies, escalate the same to shift supervisor/team leader
  • Complete data entry for all transaction
  • Provide administrative support to the Drivers on the road
  • Identifying and promptly report any discrepancies to maintain financial integrity
  • Complete checklist according to established deadlines for each major function throughout the day
  • Strictly adhere to all Brinks Security Controls and Procedures to eliminate the risk of loss
  • Ensuring all standard operating procedures (SOP), security and safe working procedures are always followed
  • Clean off stations at end of day, bundle trash according to specified procedure, ensure no work is remaining, print check manifest and make sure deposits match
  • Ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately to provide audit trails
  • Leading by example and embodying our organization's values, promoting a culture of safety, customer focus, integrity, engagement, and continuous improvement

The Qualifications You Must Have

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and to lift 22 kilos (50 pounds) or more.

The Additional Qualifications We Prefer

  • Knowledge of operational administrative processes
  • Experience operating cash counting machine – notes & coin
  • Knowledge of foreign currencies
