We are looking for a Cash Counter to join our team.
This is a permanent, part-time role (30 hours per week) based at our office in Taunton.
As a Cash Counter, you will play a vital role within our secure Cash Centre, accurately processing, counting and preparing cash to meet customer requirements. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will ensure all cash is handled securely, accurately and in line with company procedures, maintaining a full audit trail throughout the counting process.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Counting, processing and preparing notes and coins to customer specifications.
- Ensuring all operating, security and safe working procedures are followed at all times.
- Using cash management systems to accurately count, allocate and record cash.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately to maintain audit trails.
- Identifying discrepancies or irregularities in cash received and escalating these to supervisors.
- Working collaboratively to meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
What do you need to be a Cash Counter:
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to count cash and carry out basic arithmetic quickly and accurately.
- Good team working skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Comfortable working to targets and following strict procedures.
- Previous cash handling experience is desirable but not essential.
- GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths is desirable.

You will be required to work 30 hours per week, Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays). Shifts vary, so flexibility is essential.
