Overview

In the role as a Cashier, you are responsible for efficient cash desk operations & merchandise presentation around the cash area whilst providing Customer Service Excellence to drive commercial success.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in regular trainings to continuously develop
  • Follow all induction related processes (e.g. Induction Workbook)
  • Responsible for inducting new team members to cash desk
  • Continuously increase product knowledge
  • Follow all provided Collection Training & VM Guidelines
  • Support in visual merchandising, stock management and replenishment around the cash desk area
  • Support in managing stationary orders (including POS material)
  • Be familiar with all company store & individual KPI’s & targets
  • Follow all provided action plans to improve productivity
  • Supporting in all operations for loss prevention & stock management
  • Build & maintain a strong commercial awareness of competitors & local markets
  • Deliver Customer Service Excellence whilst building a loyal customer base of repeat shoppers
  • Establish a customer centric mindset to ensure customer experience
  • Responsible for CRM data gathering & quality management
  • Support Store Management in transaction, complaint & return handling
  • Proficient utilization of business systems & latest technology
  • Follow all company policies (Health & Safety, Store Operations Manual, Retail Teamwear, etc.)
  • Responsible for efficient cash management

  • Previous experience in operating a cash desk, preferably in a premium retail environment
  • Passionate & knowledgeable about the brand
  • Strong organization skills
  • Commercial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to be flexible & adaptable to the need of the business
  • Willingness to constantly learn & develop
  • Proficient utilisation in latest technology
  • High cultural knowledge & awareness
  • Perceptive of customer needs
  • Fluent in a second language would be an advantage (spoken & written)
