Job description:
If you’re a quick thinker with a charming personality, our Front of House positions may be right for you. As the face of Rusty’s Bar-B-Q, you control the guest experience most of all. Your friendly greeting, suggestive selling, and clear communication skills bring our guests back here again and again. The ideal FOH employee processes guest orders efficiently, taking accurate orders and payment. They stay cool in high-pressure work situations, shifting between tasks with ease. Finally, an ideal FOH team member executes daily processes, such as making desserts, at a consistent level of quality.

Key responsibilities (4-6 major results this person must produce):
- Complete guest orders efficiently, both in person and call-in
- Maintain clean guest areas throughout shift (dining area, restrooms, counters)
- Prepare desserts to keep up with guest orders (in-house, catering)
- Restock supplies in dining area, to-go station, dessert cooler
- Gather catering supplies for upcoming orders (when available)

Abilities:
Practical skills and knowledge required:
- Intimate understanding of our point-of-sale system
- Can reproduce desserts with near-perfect consistency
- Working knowledge of the Rusty’s menu
- Works well as part of a team
- Can lift 30 lbs overhead
- Able to stand for long periods (4+ hours)
- Uses suggestive selling to increase sales per order
