Job Summary

Department: UK & Ireland Festivals

Location: Manchester and onsite at festivals as required

Reports to: Senior Cashless & Loyalty Solutions Manager

Working Hours: Full time

Job Type: Fixed term contract until Sept 2026


Role Description

This role would suit someone with a genuine passion for live events and operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in being organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in their approach. You may be required to spend some time onsite at selected festivals during the summer months, which could involve UK travel and time away from home. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of industry-leading festivals and events, assisting the team right at the heart of operations.

As Cashless Operations Assistant, the role will work across all Live Nation UK and Ireland festivals in which the Live Nation Cashless system is deployed, reporting to the Senior Cashless & Loyalty Solutions Manager. The role focuses on assisting the Cashless Project Coordinator with event planning, logistics, and documentation to ensure each project runs smoothly.

  • Understanding of finance within a business
  • Previous Excel experience

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong administration and time management
  • Ability to manage pressure and conflicting deadlines in a challenging and fast-paced environment

What the Role Includes

Pre-event:

  • Assist in cashless meetings (note taking and distributing)
  • Traders’ info checks (bank details, menus, etc.)
  • Traders’ deposits checks
  • Assist in compiling accreditation, site requirements, accommodation, and catering
  • Keep track of the number of stores/devices required in the event summary

During events:

  • Create WhatsApp/Support in comms
  • Assist with systems admin
  • Assist with revenue protection tasks (secret shopping, declined DA’s, offline checks)
  • Assist with on-site reporting (internal and stakeholders)
  • Assist with customer loyalty scheme

Post-event:

  • Assist in building traders’ settlement files
  • Creating and sharing remittances to traders
  • Collate Sponsorship sales reports
  • Continuous Monitoring and actioning customer refunds and chargebacks as required
