Position: Casino Host

Location: Leeds Casino

Hours Per Week: 40

Pay Rate: £13 per hour

Our colleagues are the heartbeat of our Casino that’s why we invest in training (ours is 1st class!) and support you to be the best you can be – don’t worry if you are not an expert within our industry – we will take care of that.

The Guest Relations Host will cover the reception area and guest services desk, along with being the primary support for the electronic gaming machines. This will involve greeting customers, managing the cloakroom, assisting with machines, helping customers with disputes regarding machines and providing excellent customer service.

About you:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good written and verbal communications.
  • Has the ability to explain offers and promotions.
  • Experience in serving food and beverages is desired.
  • Previous experience working with electronic gaming products would be advantageous.
  • Being flexible and able to work a variety of shifts including night shifts and weekends.
  • Ideally candidates will live in Milton Keynes.

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Providing excellent customer service, as the first and last point of contact for all customers and visitors.
  • Registering customers to the membership scheme, ensuring all relevant information is captured.
  • Assisting customers with general enquiries.
  • Assisting customers with electronic gaming issues.
  • Managing cloakroom control.
  • Assisting F&B team with serving food and drinks.
  • Compiling and sending specific reports.
  • To adhere to all company health and safety practices and procedures and action as appropriate should any issue arise.
  • To attend and conduct meetings as and when required.
  • Responsible for understanding and ensuring compliance with internal Responsible Gambling policies and UK Gambling Commission Licence Codes of Conduct and Practice (LCCP)
  • To promote awareness of Responsible Gambling strategies and procedures.
  • Ensuring Responsible Gambling is an integral part of the daily operation.
  • To be proactive in safeguarding our customers and the business by ensuring that standards of compliance both internally and externally are delivered to the highest level and opportunities to improve are identified to support the business objectives.
  • In keeping with accepted principles of good Company practice, you may be required to undertake additional or alternative duties related to your position as directed from time to time by your Line Manager.
