UNSW School of Mathematics and Statistics is seeking expressions of interest from qualified individuals for casual teaching opportunities. The School teaches a large number of tutorials and relies heavily on both full-time staff and on a large number of casual academic. Casual academic generally, but not exclusively, take tutorials in First Year Mathematics. Applicants who are qualified may be engaged to undertake tutorials, labs, demonstrations, marking duties or a combination of these.

You will be contacted to present a short Demonstration Tutorial to a small group of staff members if your skills, qualification and experience are suitable. You will be asked to solve and explain the solutions to two problems, one from first year algebra and one from calculus.
The EOI portal will allow you to select which course level you would like to teach and the extent of your qualifications and experience so we can better assess your suitability and potentially meet your need for flexibility.
