Casual Bank Nursery Practitioner
Nursery: Treehouse Nursery School, Orchard School, Filton Road, Horfield, Bristol, BS7 0XY Hours: Casual/bank/variable hours, Monday-Friday Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications) Benefits: Performance related bonus, 50% childcare discount, wellness day and much much more. Conveniently located, we’re only 10 minutes from both the M4 and M5 motorways. About Treehouse Nursery Hi, I'm Lorraine, the Nursery Manager at Treehouse. Our nursery is a place full of wonder and inspiration, where natural resources are thoughtfully used to spark children's imaginations. Every day, we encourage our children to be inquisitive and adventurous, helping them build confidence, develop a love of learning, and nurture a curious mind. Our large outdoor spaces and natural wooden playhouses invite children to connect their imaginations with the world around them, fostering a deep appreciation for nature. Inside, our home-from-home environment has a strong family feel, shaped by the warmth and dedication of our long-serving, experienced team. We recognise that every child is unique, with their own story to tell. You'll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan.... That will soon get completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care! Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning. We’d love to talk to you if you have the following You are Level 2 or above qualified or have experience in an early years setting, and you're looking for a role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments. You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations. You have a natural, nurturing, openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK. (We can sometimes consider unqualified Educators, so if you can demonstrate the necessary values and enthusiasm for working within this environment, submit an application.
