**Casual Crew_role__(Technical Team)_ – Connexin Live, Hull_
If you are looking for a way into the events Industry, this is a great place to start. You don’t need to have loads of experience – the right fit is the most important thing. But you should have:

About the Venue
Connexin Live is Hull’s biggest live entertainment space with a capacity of up to 3,500 people. It hosts:
- Large corporate conferences
- Exhibitions and trade events
- Major concerts
- Standup comedy
- Family shows
- Sporting events
The Role
We are looking for individuals to join Connexin Live’s Technical Team as Casual Crew on a casual basis.
Responsibilities
Assisting the Operations Team in preparations for all public events, including:
- Concerts
- Exhibitions
- Other large-scale events
Tasks include:
- Building the venue’s stage system to specific event requirements
- Installation of crowd control barriers and queuing systems
- Setting up floor seating configurations
- Operating the venue dividing wall system
- Collaborating on changeovers between events (sometimes overnight)
- Adjusting the venue to match client needs
- Communicating and assisting other departments and touring production teams with operational requirements

What We’re Looking For
We seek candidates who can:
- Communicate professionally with colleagues and visitors at all levels
- Demonstrate physical capability (manual handling involved)
- Show a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Comply with health and safety legislation
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability
- Work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Have previous experience (advantageous but not mandatory) in:
- The events industry
- Professional sound and/or lighting equipment
