What you’ll be doing…
- Leading the team on shift: Briefing, directing, and coaching FOH assistants and supervisors
- Setting the standard: Ensuring high service expectations are understood and consistently delivered
- Driving smooth service: Overseeing timing, flow, and quality across all daily operations
- Planning ahead: Creating job lists, prioritising tasks, and using labour efficiently
- Being the client’s go-to: Meeting, greeting, and supporting clients throughout their event
- Managing communications: Handling the Duty Manager phone and coordinating responses
- Owning the environment: Opening/closing the building and maintaining high standards throughout
- Keeping things stocked and ready: Monitoring equipment and stock levels to support service
- Delivering exceptional setups: Preparing suites and ensuring everything is event-ready
- Checking the detail: Signing off daily setups and addressing any gaps quickly
- Ensuring compliance: Maintaining accurate paperwork and resolving missing requirements
- Running major events: Independently delivering large conferences and leading suites
- Creating standout experiences: Delivering 5* VIP service at high-profile events

Working Pattern
This is a casual, hourly-paid role with flexible working patterns. While hours aren’t guaranteed, full-time hours are regularly available, and we’re ideally looking for candidates with full-time availability.
