About Us
Located in the heart of Glasgow, the Glasgow Marriott Hotel is a busy, welcoming hotel close to the city centre, SEC, and major transport links.
Our housekeeping team plays a key role in delivering a great guest experience by ensuring every room is clean, comfortable, and ready for arrival. We pride ourselves on being a supportive, friendly team where everyone works together to maintain high standards.
The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Housekeeper to join our team. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone available during mid-week daytime shifts, with additional hours available based on business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas to brand standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish amenities
- Vacuum, dust, polish, and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel
- Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or lost property
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and correctly
- Work collaboratively with the housekeeping team to meet daily targets

What We’re Looking For
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Flexible availability, particularly mid-week (Monday–Friday daytime)
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information
This role involves physical activity including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Full training will be provided.
