Team Description
Bradford Council’s Leisure Service is the largest leisure provider in the district. Our organisation aims to provide a quality service in a friendly, clean, and safe environment.
Sedbergh Sports and Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team. The role is crucial in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to our sports centre. We would love to hear from you if you are passionate about water safety, customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment!
Role & Responsibilities Include
- Responsible to the Duty Officer for the day-to-day operations, lifeguarding duties, overview of customer safety, discipline and well-being, provision of effective customer service, emergency rescue and first aid, cleaning inside and outside of the facility, setting up and storage of equipment, Attending in house and external training.

Essential Qualifications
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) including proof of any ongoing pool lifeguard training.
DBS POST
An enhanced disclosure check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be undertaken for this post.
